First Moments in Heaven: Insane
Soul, when you first wake in Heaven you’ll wonder if this is your first taste of existence. The people and places that you can now see surrounding you bear no resemblance to your memories: Confusion, detachment, wild extremes of emotion and conviction. Washing and cleaning and fixing and straightening and smashing demon voices and ordering and lashing out and so many enemies and dangers, and raw faces churning and churning and then tumbling through mud, sinking until you felt an oozing almost-firm touchstone.
But now you look back and see compassionate smiles, broken families and institutions feebly nudging you toward a clearer reality. And soul, you will respond with ebullient relief. “Ohh! There is something solid and real!”
The Heaven-dwellers around you will smile and cry in anticipation of you moving from satisfaction in cardboard to knowing blazing color, astounding hope, infinite stability and freedom. Forget everything before. Everything! Your mind|body|spirit are starting fresh. We envy you!
